As an elopement photographer I've worked with countless chefs over the years, but I'm always extra excited to work with Terrene. Not only do I love every meal Jess has ever served me (which is quite a few after 5+ years), but she always goes above and beyond in making sure that everyone has a great meal and a great time, too.
I’m not vegan or vegetarian, but I have never found myself missing anything in Jess’s cooking. If anything, it’s inspired me to cook more vegan meals at home. From charcuterie boards and picnics to full dinners, the food is always intentionally curated and delicious! (And no, she’s not one of those vegans who makes you feel bad about your diet.)
Jess is also a joy to be around, calm and positive even when snow rolls in while she's setting up a picnic in the mountains, or that time a venue forgot to tell us that the gas stove had a hidden shut-off switch and we—for a few stressful minutes—thought she'd have to prepare a four-course meal cold.
I will forever recommend Terrene Gatherings to my eloping couples, because you get so much more than just a chef with Jess. I love that she’s as intentional about styling the table as about the food she serves—it makes my job so much easier when the aesthetics are top notch, too.
